Job summary

ASM is seeking an Engineer in the Field Service team to be the face of ASM at customer sites, ensuring our semiconductor equipment performs at its best. Your work directly supports customer success and ASM’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing/testing.
Familiarity with problem-solving methods like 8D, Fishbone Diagram, Kepner-Tregoe.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
Liaise with customers to qualify equipment and ensure satisfaction during installation.
Develop and execute action plans to resolve technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
Identify and implement improvements to hardware, software, and service processes.
Prepare detailed service reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support special assignments and cross-functional projects as needed.
Travel domestically and internationally as required.
