Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing/testing.
• Familiarity with problem-solving methods like 8D, Fishbone Diagram, Kepner-Tregoe.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Liaise with customers to qualify equipment and ensure satisfaction during installation.
• Develop and execute action plans to resolve technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Identify and implement improvements to hardware, software, and service processes.
• Prepare detailed service reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support special assignments and cross-functional projects as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

What you will be working on

• Install, maintain, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant field service engineering experience
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, final assembly, or testing of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving techniques such as Fish Bone Diagram, Kepner Tregoe, or 8D analysis.

What sets you apart

• Experience working in a wafer fab environment.
• Knowledge of closed-loop gas and vacuum control, electro-pneumatic systems or robotics systems
• Basic understanding of software systems and SAP applications.
• Awareness of safety protocols related to toxic or flammable gases and acids
