Job summary
JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical service, maintenance and support for advanced scientific instruments across research, manufacturing, and high-tech sectors. You will perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting while traveling regionally to customer sites.
The role requires a diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical/electronics, mechatronics or instrumentation/controls, and at least 2 years of service experience with
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation/Controls, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of service experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Experience with scientific/analytical instruments (e.g., Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, ICP).
- Willingness to travel regionally and locally (own transport preferred).
Responsibilities
- Technical Service & Field Support: install, commission, calibrate, validate, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair instruments.
- Travel to customer sites regionally and locally for service assignments.
- Prepare service quotations for repairs, PMs, spare parts and labor; identify maintenance contracts or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation per quality standards and safety regulations.
- Liaise with global factories to resolve issues and deliver end-user training.
