Job summary

dadaconsultants pte. ltd. represents a client seeking an experienced Head of International Façade Design to lead façade design and technical delivery for major, international building projects.

The successful candidate will manage design teams across disciplines, ensure compliance with Singapore standards, and provide construction-phase support and technical leadership from concept through installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Façade Engineering or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of façade design/engineering experience on major, complex or international projects.
• Strong technical expertise in complex façade systems, façade detailing, system selection and construction implementation.
• Strong knowledge of façade performance, testing, mock-ups and performance verification.
• Proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper and AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Tekla or other BIM/parametric tools is an advantage.
• Familiar with Singapore building regulations, SS/SS EN standards, BCA/SCDF requirements and local approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead façade design from concept and design development through detailed/working drawings and construction implementation.
• Provide technical leadership on complex façade systems, including curved, irregular, large-span and unitized façades.
• Review façade system selection, detailing, node designs, fabrication drawings and cutting lists to ensure design quality, constructability and performance.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Singapore building regulations, SS/SS EN standards and façade performance requirements, including coordination with BCA, SCDF and project consultants.
• Oversee façade performance requirements, including wind resistance, air/water tightness, thermal performance, material selection and durability.
• Manage and coordinate internal design teams, design subcontractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders across architecture, structural, MEP and construction teams.
• Lead technical reviews, resolve complex design issues and drive solutions from design through fabrication and installation.
• Provide construction-stage technical support, including design changes, mock-up reviews, performance testing, fabrication and installation coordination, and site issue resolution.
• Support and mentor the façade design team while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with the Singapore team and headquarters on design development, technical standards and project delivery.
