Dada Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of International Façade Design to lead complex façade projects and technical delivery across major international buildings. You will guide design teams, coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and fabricators, and ensure performance-driven solutions.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in façade design, strong knowledge of performance requirements, and proficiency with Rhino/Grasshopper and AutoCAD, with BIM tools as an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical reviews and drive design-to-fabrication solutions.
• Provide construction-stage technical support and issue resolution on site.
• Mentor façade design team and maintain high technical standards.
• Coordinate with Singapore team and headquarters on standards and delivery.

About the Role

We are representing our client in search for an experienced Head of International Façade Design to lead façade design and technical delivery for major, complex and international building projects.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in complex façade systems, design detailing, performance requirements and construction implementation, together with the ability to lead design teams and coordinate effectively across clients, architects, consultants, contractors and fabricators.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead façade design from concept and design development through detailed/working drawings and construction implementation.
• Review façade system selection, detailing, node designs, fabrication drawings and cutting lists to ensure design quality, constructability and performance.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Singapore building regulations, SS/SS EN standards and façade performance requirements, including coordination with BCA, SCDF and project consultants.
• Oversee façade performance requirements, including wind resistance, air/water tightness, thermal performance, material selection and durability.
• Manage and coordinate internal design teams, design subcontractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders across architecture, structural, MEP and construction teams.
• Lead technical reviews, resolve complex design issues and drive solutions from design through fabrication and installation.
• Provide construction-stage technical support, including design changes, mock-up reviews, performance testing, fabrication and installation coordination, and site issue resolution.
• Support and mentor the façade design team while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with the Singapore team and headquarters on design development, technical standards and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Façade Engineering or a related discipline. A relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of façade design/engineering experience, with proven exposure to major, complex or international projects.
• Strong knowledge of façade performance, testing, mock-ups and performance verification.
• Proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper and AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Tekla or other BIM/parametric tools is an advantage.
• Familiar with Singapore building regulations, SS/SS EN standards, BCA/SCDF requirements and local approval processes.
• Experience managing design teams, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Relevant Singapore professional registration, façade/building-envelope certification or recognised industry credentials will be an advantage.
• Strong technical judgement, problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex façade challenges from design through construction.
