Job summary

The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. is seeking an Export & Trademarks Manager to drive global growth from Singapore. You will partner cross-functionally to expand international distribution, protect brand IP, and ensure regulatory compliance as the heritage brand scales into new markets.

Lead cross-border agreements, manage trademark filings worldwide, and coordinate export logistics with supply chain teams. Bring 5+ years in export, IP, or BD within FMCG or premium beverages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in export sales, international business development, or IP/trademark management.
• Strong familiarity with international trade regulations, customs processes, and cross-border contracts.
• Solid understanding of intellectual property structures, global trademark filings, and brand protection.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills with track record of partner alignment across regions.

Responsibilities

• Global Market Expansion & Channel Management: identify and secure international distributors, importers, and retail partners; structure cross-border distribution agreements and export terms; manage performance and brand positioning across territories.
• Trademark & Intellectual Property Governance: oversee global trademark registrations/renewals; monitor infringements with counsel; manage IP matrix and licensing rights.
• Export Logistics, Compliance & Operations: ensure regulatory compliance, food safety docs, customs clearance; align export orders with supply chain on lead times and shipping docs; plan regional trade shows and market-entry pilots.
