Job summary

The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive (Export Sales) to expand its international footprint and serve as custodian of intellectual property.

You will blend international business development with client management, negotiating cross-border distributions and managing export documentation as the brand grows globally. You will help develop export plans, manage overseas customers, monitor shipments, and support performance reporting while working with the Sri Lanka

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree qualification.
• At least 5 years of sales or export experience, preferably in FMCG or food distribution.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with export procedures and documentation is an advantage.
• Experience handling regional export markets and overseas customers.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement export sales plans to achieve targets.
• Identify and develop new customers, distributors and opportunities.
• Expand markets in Australia and Southeast Asia.
• Collaborate with group subsidiaries to maximize synergies.
• Manage overseas customer relationships and pricing negotiations.
• Oversee export orders and shipments with factory in Sri Lanka.
