ByteDance is seeking an experienced Global Export Compliance Manager to build, implement, and continually improve its export control and trade compliance program. The role focuses on operational controls, end-user due diligence, restricted party screening, cloud and infrastructure risk reviews, training, governance, and ongoing program execution.

The ideal candidate will drive scalable processes across functions, support day-to-day compliance operations, and strengthen the company’s global trade

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in international trade, law, compliance, public policy, engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in export controls, trade compliance and compliance operations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export control laws (EAR) and licensing fundamentals.
• Experience building or enhancing cross-border compliance programs and operations.
• Ability to assess export control risk across onboarding, supply chain, and tech workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Support build-up and enhancement of export control and trade compliance programs and governance.
• Design and manage core compliance operations: screening, due diligence, training, and audits.
• Develop processes for cross-border activities, technology transfers, and cloud/IaaS reviews.
• Embed export control requirements into workflows with legal, business, and tech teams.
• Assess and manage export control risks across supply chain and vendor onboarding.
