Job summary

ByteDance is recruiting for an Internal Controls professional to safeguard its global operations. The role focuses on risk identification, analysis, and root cause resolution, collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen controls across cloud/SaaS offerings.

Mandarin proficiency is required to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking partners. The Singapore-based team supports APAC market expansion, compliance monitoring, and a dynamic, fast-paced tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Law, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in internal controls, risk control, risk management, compliance, audit, or related function.
• Strong analytical capability with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethics, proactive attitude, and results-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of global regulatory and control environments, including COSO.

Responsibilities

• Participate in risk identification, risk analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Develop tools and templates to improve processes, approvals, and policy effectiveness.
• Provide research, analysis, and insights for management reporting when needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve control environments across cloud services and SaaS lines.
• Support APAC market internal control needs, including new business risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, offering day-to-day compliance consultation and risk insights.
