Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking an Events Program Specialist for a 4-month maternity cover, based in Raffles Place. You will act as product manager for events in your portfolio and drive execution with a focus on strategic direction.

Collaborate with content managers, thought leadership and advisors to develop commercially viable event programs for global markets; identify executive speakers for conferences, live seminars and webinars, and create promotional materials with marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field completed.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience; event programming/management preferred.
• Superior project management skills and the ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Acts as product manager on events in portfolio, overseeing execution and strategic direction.
• Collaborates to develop commercially viable event programs for global markets.
• Develops and presents product briefings to internal sales, marketing and service teams.
• Identifies and confirms executive-level speakers for conferences, seminars and webinars.
• Creates promotional materials with content and marketing teams.
• Manages on-site event execution, ensuring sessions run on time and speaker support.
• Establishes relationships with industry leaders, associations, vendors and media.
• Manages speaker expense budgets.
• Facilitates clear communication within cross-functional project teams.
• Represents the company at educational and networking gatherings.
