Job summary

Amex GBT in Singapore is seeking an experienced Event Planner to collaborate with clients and deliver on meeting program goals. You will guide the program from contract execution to final billing while providing outstanding travel program service.

The role requires 5 years in project and meetings management, strong budget skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%. You will coordinate vendors, venues, and registration, using Cvent and other tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project, meetings and client management.
• Experience working within budgets.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally & domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinating and implementing program logistics to achieve impact.
• Research and coordinate relationships with vendors, leveraging preferred relationships to ensure high-quality selections.
• Ensure supplier contracts protect Amex GBT and clients.
• Lead program costs, identify savings, review invoices and report to reconciliation, handle client payments as defined.
• Determine program needs for online registration and assist event owners with attendee communications.
• Handle logistics with venue staff, coordinate vendor performance, and support event staff.
• Conduct program debrief with client and provide briefing report post event.
• Develop service recovery plans and drive improvement goals.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of technology and/or software solutions (Cvent).
