Job summary

ByteDance’s Traffic Infrastructure team manages global edge infrastructure, including China and non-China networks. The role focuses on operation, maintenance, and stability of the Network-Traffic Infrastructure, delivery of production systems, and building observability and emergency response capabilities.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in SRE or related fields, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes, edge computing, and cloud networking, plus good communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above with at least 3 years in R&D, system operation and maintenance, or SRE.
  • Familiar with infrastructure architecture; solid knowledge of Kubernetes, edge computing, cloud networking, load balancing, and microservice architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication, sense of responsibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain ByteDance's Network-Traffic Infrastructure for stability.
  • Deliver and operate production systems, including changes and releases of facilities, components and products.
  • Design and implement stability assurance: observability, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Develop emergency response systems: ticket processing, risk governance, and long-term optimization.
