Job summary

ByteDance in Singapore is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Intern (Video and Edge, CDN Platform) for a 2027 start. You will join our hybrid CDN platform team, helping ensure reliability and performance of edge services across global PoPs.

You will architect solutions, build monitoring, automate workflows, perform vulnerability assessments, and participate in on-call rotations, gaining hands-on experience across hyperscale infrastructure and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or master's in CS/SE or related field.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Go, Shell, or Python.
• Experience operating in a multi-CDN environment.
• Experience with networks: TCP/IP, BGP, DNS.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement solutions for ByteDance’s globally scaled CDN.
• Build metrics, tools, automation, monitoring for edge services.
• Develop workflows to improve efficiency and compliance across operations.
• Conduct vulnerability and capacity assessments; develop disaster recovery strategies.
• Participate in technical operations and on-call rotations.
