Job summary

DHL Express seeks a Director of Customs Automation to lead AI-driven automation, BI, and regulated solutions globally. You will shape strategy, own a multi-product portfolio, and ensure scalable, data-driven delivery across regions.

You will manage a large cross-functional team, collaborate with architecture, security, and operations, and drive value realization with measurable KPIs, budgets, and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical or customer facing technical roles.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), Python, Machine Learning, and Model Evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the global Customs Automation vision and strategy.
• Own and manage customs automation portfolio across multiple IT products.
• Oversee IT product lifecycle from concept to launch with data-driven improvements.
• Define and track KPIs to ensure measurable outcomes and value.
• Lead a global team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
