Job summary

Visa is recruiting a Director of Compute Operations to lead a global team responsible for Visa’s compute infrastructure. Based in Singapore, you will coordinate with regional engineering leaders and drive ITIL-based incident, change and problem management across 24x7 operations.

You will mentor senior staff, define standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional groups to enable scalable, secure and resilient compute services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology/compute administration with leadership
• Experience managing heterogeneous infrastructure (HP/Dell/IBM; Linux/AIX/CentOS)
• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Current or recent compute operations leadership and KPI driven improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 compute operations and ensure incident/change management
• Drive ITIL-based improvements across global teams
• Mentor senior staff and establish governance for security and compliance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compute Tools/Engineering/Architecture and other groups
