Visa Research seeks an internationally recognized leader to shape the new Quantum Computing Center of Excellence in Singapore. You will define the research agenda, lead high-impact programs, and build a world-class team focused on quantum algorithms, cryptography, ML, and security.

The role combines scientific leadership with ecosystem building, mentoring, and global engagement to advance Visa’s quantum strategy and financial services applications.

Qualifications

• PhD or advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• 15+ years of relevant work experience for senior levels.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in top research environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Visa’s Quantum Computing Center of Excellence in Singapore.
• Formulate and execute a forward-looking research agenda in quantum information and computation.
• Design and prototype novel quantum algorithms and systems.
• Drive high-impact research programs from concept to execution.
• Mentor researchers and grow a strong scientific culture.
• Establish collaborations with universities, industry partners, and government bodies.
• Represent Visa externally through publications and talks.
• Translate technical advances into strategic insights for Visa.
