Job summary

Visa’s Technology Organization in Singapore seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive the Loyalty platform and customer engagement initiatives. You’ll provide technical leadership across distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures, partnering with product and security teams to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years with an Advanced degree or 13+ years of experience.
• Experience integrating generative AI into engineering workflows (OpenAI APIs, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
• Champion secure SDLC and quality engineering practices.
• Strong background building and scaling distributed systems or cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical direction across distributed systems, microservices, high-throughput processing, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Drive architectural decisions for core components of the Loyalty platform with global scalability.
• Establish engineering best practices through code reviews and architectural deep dives.
• Oversee adoption of modern engineering patterns including event-driven systems and cloud-native development.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Architecture teams to define platform capabilities.
