Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a VP, Custody Product Manager for Global Market Securities Financing in Singapore. The role partners with trading, risk, and operations to optimize collateral management and custody services.

You will lead external custodian and vault provider relationships, run RFPs, negotiate contracts, and support market expansion while ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting specialization.
• 8-12 years of practical experience across custody and gold product, securities operations, asset servicing, operational risk or network management roles.
• Strong working knowledge of custody and gold operations – settlements, safekeeping, asset segregation, corporate actions, income, tax reclaims, FX.
• Experience with operational due-diligence and risk assessment.
• Experience with managing provider relationships, commercial negotiations, service governance, issue resolution and remediation.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills; collaborative working-style.

Responsibilities

• Select, appoint and monitor external custodian partnerships and gold vault providers.
• Run RFP/RFI tenders and reviews; provide benchmarking and selection recommendations to governance forums.
• Negotiate and execute custodian agreements, fee schedules, FX/cash terms, SLAs; manage renewals and amendments.
• Support opening of new markets, onboarding providers, manage transitions and migrations.
• Lead regular service level reviews with custodian providers with Operations and Business Leads.
• Act as SME and coordination point for OCBC Group entities on custody-related matters.
• Support new markets and clients initiatives requiring custody and gold custody coverage.
• Represent the firm with CSDs, regulators, industry bodies; manage risk and compliance.
