Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in securities finance operations, preferably within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of securities lending, borrowing, repo transactions, and collateral management.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and market practices in securities finance.
• Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, settlement processes, and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Leadership experience or potential to lead a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily processing of securities lending, borrowing, and repo transactions, ensuring accurate settlements and reconciliations.
• Manage collateral movements, margin calls, substitutions, and haircuts per policy.
• Identify and elevate operational risks; ensure regulatory compliance and provide documentation for audits.
• Drive automation and process improvements with IT and business stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between front, middle, risk, legal, and external counterparties; provide timely reporting.
• Mentor junior team members and support training and development.
