Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in securities finance operations.
• Strong understanding of securities lending, borrowing, repo, and collateral management.
• Knowledge of regulations and market practices (SEC, MAS, HKMA).
• Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, settlement, and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership experience or potential to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily processing of securities lending, borrowing, and repo transactions.
• Ensure accurate settlement, reconciliation of positions, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Familiar with Corporate Action event types and their application to trades and settlements.
• Manage collateral movements, margin calls, and substitutions per internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor collateral valuations and ensure appropriate collateral coverage and haircuts.
• Identify operational risks and ensure regulatory compliance; support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Drive process improvements through automation and technology adoption; work with IT and business stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between front office, middle office, risk, legal and external counterparties; provide timely reporting.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee daily activities; participate in training and development.
