Job summary

OCBC Bank Singapore is seeking a Custody Operations Manager to lead end-to-end custody processing, asset servicing and reconciliation. You will work with Front Office, Risk, Compliance, and Technology to ensure accurate settlements and strong controls across markets and assets, including digital assets.

The role requires 5+ years in custody or post-trade operations, a finance/business degree, and demonstrated leadership in coordinating multiple stakeholders to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant custody, securities operations, settlement or post-trade experience.
• Strong understanding of securities lifecycles, settlement practices and reconciliation controls.
• Experience in operational-risk management, incident investigations, audits and governance.
• Ability to manage priorities and multiple stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
• Leadership experience or ability to supervise, coach and allocate work.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end custody processing: validation, matching, settlement and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with sub-custodians to meet market, client and internal cut-off times.
• Support new markets and client initiatives; act as SME for custody transactions.
• Oversee asset servicing, corporate actions, income events, redemptions and maturities.
• Perform daily reconciliations of positions, cash, transactions and fees; resolve breaks.
• Maintain controls, risk documentation and governance; support audits and reviews.
• Lead readiness for new products, market changes and system enhancements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and provide timely updates on issues.
