Job summary

Pacific International Lines in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage and optimize its container fleet. You will oversee planning for a multi-hundred-million-dollar asset portfolio and align fleet strategies with market demand and seasonal cycles.

The role requires strong experience in container leasing and fleet management, with a track record of delivering cost-efficient asset strategies across global trades, and collaboration with regional offices.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Management or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage planning for container assets over $500M to support PIL liner revenue
• Develop and implement container fleet plans aligned with market demand and long-term business requirements, ensuring optimal equipment mix across global trades and seasonal cycles
• Optimize container portfolio through strategic newbuilding, leasing, sales and disposal decisions to balance cost, asset quality and operational flexibility
• Monitor global fleet size, performance KPIs, and stock levels; provide direction to equipment flow teams and regional offices to maintain the targeted fleet profile
• Oversee container-related CAPEX, OPEX and fleet budgeting processes, including financial forecasting, investment analysis and spend optimization
