TOURLIFE CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Breakfast Buffet Chef for a luxury Singapore hotel. You will prepare and present quality breakfast dishes, manage your section during breakfast service, and work closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely prep, replenishment and presentation.

You will contribute to maintaining food quality, hygiene, consistency and guest satisfaction throughout breakfast service, while supporting rotating menus and special offerings.

Qualificações

• Able to start work early in the morning for breakfast preparation, normally around 3:00-4:00 AM.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant, buffet, or breakfast operation is preferred.
• Good knowledge of breakfast preparation and cooking techniques.
• Experience with local and international dishes is advantageous.
• Strong focus on food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Excellent organization and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic leadership to guide junior kitchen staff.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and handling practices.
• Ability to work independently within a section while contributing to the team.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Positive attitude, good communication, and passion for guest dining experiences.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast buffet items according to recipes and portion sizes.
• Take responsibility for an assigned kitchen section and ensure smooth prep and service.
• Assist with setting up the breakfast buffet before service starts.
• Ensure buffet items are replenished promptly and kept at proper temperature and quality.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portions.
• Support the Sous Chef with rotating menus, seasonal dishes, and special offerings.
• Prepare dishes catering to different dietary requirements and guest preferences when required.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections for timely food prep and buffet operations.
• Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior team members during prep and service.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
• Follow storage, labeling, stock rotation and handling procedures.
• Monitor ingredients and inform Sous Chef of low stock or needs.
• Minimise wastage and follow cost-control practices.
• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and closing down kitchen and buffet area after service.
• Respond professionally to special guest requests and communicate to the team.
• Follow all hotel kitchen procedures, standards and health regulations.
