Job summary

SEARCH AVENUE PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks an experienced Chef de Partie to support in-room dining and breakfast operations in a boutique hotel. You will oversee the assigned kitchen section, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service while maintaining high food-safety standards.

Experience in breakfast prep, room service, and a strong kitchen discipline are essential. The role requires early shifts and weekends as part of a 5-day work week in a central Singapore location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience in hotel, restaurant, or similar kitchen.
• Experience in breakfast operations, in-room dining, or room service is advantageous.
• Knowledge of breakfast preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak dining periods.
• Willingness to work shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations for the assigned section, focusing on in-room dining and breakfast.
• Prepare and execute breakfast items and in-room dining orders to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure dishes are prepared accurately and served within required turnaround times during peak periods.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, taste and presentation across orders.
• Coordinate with kitchen team and service staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery.
• Monitor stock levels, storage and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in line with regulations.
• Assist with menu preparation and culinary development as needed.
• Guide junior kitchen staff to uphold standards and teamwork.
