Job summary

GREMAX INDUSTRIAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its Singapore finance team. Based in Singapore, you will handle full sets of accounts for local and overseas entities, manage AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations and month-end closings, and prepare monthly financial reports.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance with relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred for communication with overseas stakeholders and auditors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple entities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred for communication with overseas stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for Singapore and overseas companies.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Collect and organize operational and transaction data for accounting purposes.
• Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and balances.
• Liaise with overseas teams, external accountants, tax agents and banks.
• Support audit, tax and other statutory compliance matters.
• Assist with payment processing, cash flow monitoring and other finance-related matters.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
