Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role covers AP, AR, GL activities and compliance in a manufacturing/trading environment.

You will prepare monthly and annual accounts in accordance with SFRS, handle GST filings, and support internal and external audits. A degree in accounting or ACCA with 3 years of relevant experience is required; local proximity to Chinatown MRT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or ACCA with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or trading industry preferred.
• Knowledge of GST, statutory reporting, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice verification, PO matching, vendor master maintenance, payment processing, and resolution of payment discrepancies.
• Handle Accounts Receivable functions, including intercompany invoicing, debit and credit notes, AR reconciliations, ageing reports, and month-end closing activities.
• Support General Ledger and month-end closing, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting schedules, treasury matters, and internal and external audits.
• Manage tax and compliance activities, including GST filing, statutory reporting, monthly financial controls, and submissions to relevant local authorities.
• Prepare full sets of monthly and annual accounts, financial compilation reports in accordance with SFRS, XBRL submissions, and supporting documentation including salary schedules.
