Job summary

Public Service Division is hiring Ops Tech Managers in Singapore to validate and maintain tree inventory data within GIS platforms. The role combines field verification with desktop analysis to support Singapore's City in Nature initiative.

You will work with operations and IT to identify discrepancies, implement fixes, and help optimise GIS-based tree management systems. Contract length is 11 months with staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification.
• ISA Certified Arborist is a plus.
• Interest in IT systems and willingness to learn new platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and data validation mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to conduct field validation outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Validate tree data in GIS layers for accuracy and consistency.
• Visit sites for on-site validation of tree locations and species against records.
• Collaborate with operations and IT to fix data discrepancies.
• Support GIS-based tree management system implementations and optimisation.
• Generate reports on data quality and suggest improvements.
• Develop SOPs for data validation and QA processes.
• Support broader digital transformation initiatives.
