Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager, Land (GIS Analyst / Spatial Data Specialist) to support development and implementation of spatial data solutions across engineering functions. You will handle complex geospatial datasets, design GIS solutions, and communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.

You will maintain data quality, develop automated workflows, and generate maps and reports to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, geomatics, geography, environmental science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial analysis techniques, and cartographic principles.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS or QGIS and spatial databases.
• Experience in data analysis with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of Python programming for automation and spatial analysis is advantageous.
• Familiarity with BIM software and integration methods is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Open to candidates with relevant academic projects without working experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyse complex spatial datasets to extract insights and identify patterns informing decisions.
• Design GIS solutions tailored to specific business needs and operational challenges.
• Create and maintain detailed spatial databases with emphasis on data quality and integrity.
• Develop automated workflows to streamline spatial data processing.
• Generate maps, visualisations, and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose GIS solutions.
• Support integration of GIS data with other platforms including BIM systems.
• Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date SOPs.
