National Parks Board in Singapore is seeking personnel to assist in tree management and landscaping, supporting greenery initiatives. You will inspect trees, perform maintenance, and learn to use modern tree inspection devices while contributing to design and implementation of landscape projects.
You will collaborate with contractors to oversee planting, pruning and removal of trees, shrubs and turf, and respond to greenery-related public feedback as part of our City-in-Nature initiatives.
You will assist in tree management work, landscaping and related projects.
An integral part of the job entails carrying out tree inspection and tree management work to ensure the health and structural stability of trees. You will have the opportunity to learn and use modern tree inspection devices. You will also be involved in landscape design, implementation and maintenance, which include working with contractors to oversee operations such as planting, pruning, and removal of trees, shrubs and turf. You are also required to attend to greenery-related public feedback and proactively share our City-in-Nature initiatives.
Someone who appreciates greenery, enjoys outdoor work, and has a keen interest in landscape design and maintenance
Area of study in Arboriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Design or Landscape Management an advantage
Strong interest in the flora of Singapore, especially trees and their care
Effective team player
