Job description

Develop and maintain a strong network within the Singapore business community to identify new business opportunities and facilitate market expansion, particularly between Singapore and China.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors,clients, business partners, financial institutions and other strategic partners.

In accordance with the resolutions and strategic direction of the Board of Directors, oversee the implementation of the Company's policies, business objectives and business plans, and translate these into actionable plans across relevant departments.

Lead and oversee the Company's day-to-day business operations, ensuring effective coordination across functions and achievement of established operational and commercial objectives.

Identify, assess and evaluate opportunities to introduce new products and services into the China market, including market potential, commercial feasibility and strategic fit.

Identify and develop opportunities for business growth, market expansion and strategic partnerships in Singapore, China and other relevant markets.

Ensure effective allocation and utilisation of the Company's financial, human and other resources to support business objectives and sustainable growth.

Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies in alignment with the Company's overall corporate objectives and Board-approved plans.

Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors on business performance, market developments, investment opportunities, key risks and strategic recommendations.

Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and capital market stakeholders, including investors and institutions from China, and support the Company's capital-raising and investor-relations activities.

Oversee existing customer and commercial contracts to ensure that customer expectations,contractual obligations and agreed business objectives are effectively managed and achieved.

Monitor market trends,competitive developments and regulatory or commercial changes that may affect the Company's business, and recommend appropriate strategic or operational responses.

Work closely with the Managing Director on complex business and operational matters, identify solutions to key challenges and support the implementation of agreed actions.

Provide leadership and direction to management and employees, fostering effective cross-functional collaboration and accountability for business performance.

Perform any other corporate,strategic, operational and ad-hoc duties or assignments as may be required by the Board of Directors or Managing Director.
