Job summary

Placement Professionals, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Claims Coordinator to support general insurance programs for group and individual health plans. You will develop and update internal handbooks, manage claims, and ensure clear communication with clients and underwriters.

The role requires French-speaking capability, a solid background in general insurance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance or related field.
• Conversational French language ability to support French-speaking clients and claims enquiries.
• Experience with general insurance products such as personal/commercial lines and group policies; background in administration or claims handling is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain clear policy, claims and quotation records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in expanding group insurance policy leads, including collecting client needs, organizing quotes and tracking policy placement stages.
• Keep precise records of policies, claims, quotations, renewal status and insurer communications for internal reference.
• Provide licensed insurance agents or management with administrative coordination, client servicing and documentation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor insurance claims, particularly for French-speaking clients, to guarantee transparent dialogue and efficient processing.
• Monitor policy renewals, renewal timelines and outstanding information to ensure policies are renewed on time.

Remuneration

Fixed salary + variable commission / bonus. Candidates with an active General Insurance agent registration or relevant licensing may be considered for additional sales-related bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• 2 Years of Experience (YOE) or more in Insurance.
• Open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents only.
• Conversational French language ability is required to support French-speaking clients and claims enquiries effectively.
• Professional history or experience in general insurance, insurance administration, claims handling, client servicing or a related field.
• Possession of General Insurance certifications (BCP, PGI & CGI) is preferred.
• Applicants holding appropriate General Insurance certifications, licensing or agent registration eligibility may be designated as a practicing General Insurance agent, enabling them to assist with GI sales initiatives.
• Understanding of general insurance products such as personal insurance, commercial insurance, group hospitalization, group personal accident, corporate travel or other group policy arrangements will be an advantage.
• Previous background in customer service, client communication or claims follow-up is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to maintain clear policy, claims and quotation records.
• High level of accuracy with the capacity to work autonomously as well as cooperatively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
