Job summary

ATA (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Part-Time General Insurance Executive to manage and grow the GI portfolio while supporting new personal and corporate insurance initiatives.

This role requires practicalGI experience, handling quotations, renewals and servicing with independence, and collaboration with the Agency Director. It is a two- to three-day-per-week position with a daily rate of S$160–S$200.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant general insurance experience.
• Experience with GI quotations, renewals, policy terms and insurer requirements.
• General Insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, ComGI/CGI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage general insurance enquiries, quotations, renewals and policy servicing matters.
• Liaise with clients and insurers to obtain underwriting information, quotations and coverage terms.
• Prepare quotation comparisons and supporting documents for client discussions.
• Process applications, endorsements, cancellations and other policy changes.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and premium payments.
• Assist with GI claims submissions and monitor cases through to completion.
• Maintain accurate client, policy, claims and renewal records in the CRM system.
• Follow up on prospective client enquiries and existing business leads.
• Identify opportunities within personal and corporate GI accounts.
• Support development of motor, travel, home, personal accident and commercial GI business.
• Assist with corporate GI quotations and renewal reviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurers, underwriters and clients.

Two to three fixed full working days per week
Daily Rate: S$160–S$200 per full day, commensurate with experience

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time General Insurance Executive to manage and grow our existing GI portfolio while supporting the development of new personal and corporate general insurance business.

This is not a basic data-entry position. The successful candidate should have practical GI experience and be able to manage quotations, renewals and servicing matters with reasonable independence.

You will work closely with the Agency Director

Key Responsibilities

Existing GI Portfolio:

• Manage general insurance enquiries, quotations, renewals and policy-servicing matters

• Review existing coverage and identify policies approaching renewal

• Liaise with clients and insurers to obtain underwriting information, quotations and coverage terms

• Compare premiums, coverage, exclusions, excesses and policy conditions

• Prepare quotation comparisons and supporting documents for client discussions

• Process applications, endorsements, cancellations and other policy changes

• Follow up on outstanding documentation and premium payments

• Assist with GI claims submissions and monitor cases through to completion

• Maintain accurate client, policy, claims and renewal records in the CRM system

GI Business Development:

• Follow up on prospective client enquiries and existing business leads

• Identify opportunities within personal and corporate GI accounts

• Support the development of motor, travel, home, personal accident and commercial insurance business

• Assist with corporate GI quotations and renewal reviews

• Build and maintain professional relationships with insurers, underwriters and clients

• Contribute practical ideas to improve GI lead generation, conversion and client retention

• Provide GI recommendations and support only within the candidate’s authorised and certified scope

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant general insurance experience

• Practical knowledge of GI quotations, renewals, policy terms, claims and insurer requirements

• Relevant General Insurance certifications, such as BCP, PGI and ComGI/CGI, will be strongly preferred

• Experience in an insurance agency, brokerage or insurer environment is advantageous

• Comfortable using insurer portals, CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong communication and client-servicing skills

• Sales-minded, proactive and confident in following up on business opportunities

• Meticulous and able to manage cases independently

• Strong sense of responsibility and consistent follow-through

• Able to commit to two or three fixed full working days each week

• Must declare any existing employment, appointments or potential conflicts of interest

Remuneration

• Daily rate of S$160–S$200, depending on relevant experience and capability

• The daily basic rate, equivalent hourly rate and encashed public-holiday component will be clearly stated in the employment contract
