Job summary

OMNILOJO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned mobile game systems designer to shape engaging SLG experiences.

You will design and build game systems, progression rules, and features aligned with the game direction, and you will collaborate with programmers, artists, and QA to ensure quality delivery. • Design and build game systems, gameplay rules, and features based on the overall game direction.
• Work closely with programmers, artists, and QA to drive feature development and ensure quality delivery.
• Analyse feature performance and player data to evaluate outcomes and identify improvements.
• Analyse issues such as player retention, revenue, and system engagement, and propose optimisation solutions.
• Develop innovative gameplay and system designs based on the game’s style and target audience preferences.
• Design and balance progression systems and game values, including progression-related numerical systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build game systems, gameplay rules, and features based on the overall game direction, with a focus on delivering a strong player experience.
• Work closely with programmers, artists, and QA to drive feature development and ensure quality delivery.
• Analyse feature performance and player data to evaluate outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyse issues such as player retention, revenue, and system engagement, and propose optimisation solutions.
• Develop innovative gameplay and system designs based on the game’s style and target audience preferences.
• Design and balance progression systems and game values, including independently designing progression-related numerical systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile game systems design, with experience contributing to at least one successfully launched title. Experience in SLG games is preferred.
• Passionate about SLG games, with strong knowledge of the genre, its core mechanics, and player needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Fast learner with clear and agile thinking.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and team members.
