The Job:

Game Reign is looking for a talented and experienced Game Designer to create a new experience for mobile. This position will focus on the creative design of mobile content and you will be expected to wear many hats! The ideal candidate will have extensive proven experience in game design, a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, outstanding people skills, boundless creativity, extensive knowledge of the games, and a longstanding passion for playing games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practical understanding of the game design process, including level design, AI, controls, UI, etc.
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ game design experience or equivalent in the gaming industry
• Minimum Degree/Diploma in a related field
• Can quickly learn and master new tools and implementation techniques
• Excellent communication skills — active listening, accessible verbal, and clear written presentation
• Self-directed and proactive within a team context, with strong drive, vision, and sense of direction
• Creative, innovative, and positive problem-solving perspective
• Good understanding of game mechanics and what engages players, with ability to design experiences that capture attention and keep players coming back
