Responsibilities

WorkingcloselywiththeCEOandleadershipteam,youwillshapeanddeliveranintegratedfundraisingandmarketingstrategyandannualdevelopmentplanacrossindividualgiving,majordonors,corporatesandfoundations.Youwillleadanddevelopalean,high-performingfundraisingteam,chargedwithacquiringandretainingdonors.Growinganddiversifyingincomesitsattheheartofthemandate,fromdeepeningexistingsupporterrelationshipstoopeningnewmarketsegmentsandfundingstreams,whileworkingwithprogrammecolleaguestokeepahealthypipelineoffundableprojects.AlongsideFinance,youwillensurerobustgovernance,transparentstewardshipofgiftsandaccountabilitytodonors,strengtheningtrustintheorganisation.

Requirements

Thiswillsuitawell-networkedfundraisingleaderwithatrackrecordofbuildingportfoliosofindividual,major,andcorporatedonors,andofgrowingincomethroughsegmentation,research,andcultivation.Theabilitytoopendoorstohighnetworthindividuals,familyoffices,SMEs,andcorporates,andtobuildlastingrapportwiththem,iskey.Experienceacrossmajorgivingandfoundationsisvaluable,andindividualgivingexpertiseanadvantage.

Youhavebuiltandmotivatedteamsasaservantleader,arecomfortablecreatingstructureoutofambiguity,andcommunicatewithgravitasacrossverydifferentaudiences,fromcorporateboardroomstograssrootscommunities.Youareequallyathomeinafrugalenvironment,whereresourcesarechannelledtothecauseratherthantotheorganisationitself.AsecondAsianlanguageandfamiliaritywithdonormanagementsystemswouldbeadvantageous.
