Job summary

RSVP Singapore The Organisation of Senior Volunteers is seeking an experienced fundraiser to drive long-term financial sustainability. The role focuses on creating strategic fundraising plans, cultivating donors and sponsors, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You will collaborate with teams to organise events, monitor outcomes, and adjust approaches as needed. Strong communication and proposal-writing skills are essential to articulate programmes to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising and event management within the social service sector.
• Ability to develop strategic fundraising plans and drive them to execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with strong planning and analytical abilities.
• Fluency in English; bilingualism is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising work plans to support long-term sustainability using the provided framework.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with donors, sponsors and funding agencies to secure support for programmes.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporates and funding organisations.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to organize and manage fundraising activities to hit targets.
• Monitor and evaluate fundraising efforts, adjusting strategies to improve effectiveness.
• Effectively present RSVP Singapore’s programmes to stakeholders through presentations and written proposals.

RSVP Singapore is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual who will play a critical role in proactively seeking out fundraising avenues and partnerships to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising work plans to achieve long-term organisational sustainability through a strategic fundraising framework provided.


• Actively seek out and cultivate partnerships with potential donors, sponsors, and funding agencies to secure financial support for the organisation’s programmes and initiatives.


• Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders including existing/ potential individual donors, corporates, and funding organisations


• Work closely with team members and various stakeholders to organise and manage fundraising efforts to achieve fundraising targets


• Monitor and evaluate fundraising efforts to ensure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.


• Ability to articulate effectively RSVP Singapore’s programmes and initiatives to stakeholders through presentations, written proposals and other communication channels.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with diverse stakeholders.


• Proven ability to work independently and proactively, with strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.


• Demonstrated learning attitude and aptitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.


• Experience in fundraising and event management, particularly within the social service sector, is preferred but not necessary.


• A strong team player.


• Effectively bilingual will be an advantage.


• A sales background would be beneficial.
