Job summary

BOTX INNOVATION SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to lead full-cycle safety work from requirements through design and evaluation, grounded in ISO 26262 and related standards.

You will perform safety analyses (FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA) for automotive-grade hardware and robotics, implement safety mechanisms, manage certification, and liaise with customers and third-party assessors. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Control, Integrated Circuits or related majors.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in embedded hardware/software and functional safety.
• Familiar with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 and development processes.
• English as a working language.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle functional safety work including requirements, design and evaluation based on intelligent driving system specifications and industrial safety standards.
• Implement functional safety analysis for automotive-grade products and robotics applications, including FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA, etc.
• Be responsible for the implementation and improvement of functional safety mechanisms.
• Manage functional safety-related certification processes and assist third-party agencies in completing product certification.
• Liaise with customers on functional safety requirements.
