Job summary

Aptiv Safety & Mobility Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Engineer in the Quality department to develop and implement a comprehensive quality system for products and processes, ensuring conformance to specifications.

You will lead quality improvement initiatives, audits, and actions to address non-conformances, reporting to the Manager, in a semiconductor/automotive electronics manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Engineering/Physics/Materials Science is required.
• Experience in semiconductor or automotive electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience using quality engineering tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, TS 16949/ISO 9000) is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve the department and product total quality system to ensure product specifications are met.
• Facilitate quality improvement to the product and process by providing technical guidance in QE tools applications.
• Perform system and/or process audit to ensure quality system compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive quality initiatives to achieve the customer quality target.
• Lead the Material Review Board meeting on the disposition of non-conforming material and drive actions to resolve non-conforming cases.
• Monitor First Time Quality reviews and drive for improvement on top issues.
• Respond to customer returns and drive effective actions to address them.
• Drive to achieve customer satisfaction and meet targets in the customer scorecard.
