Job summary

BOTX INNOVATION SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to lead full-cycle safety work from requirements through design and evaluation, grounded in ISO 26262 and related standards.

You will perform safety analyses (FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA) for automotive-grade hardware and robotics, implement safety mechanisms, manage certification, and liaise with customers and third-party assessors. • Master's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Control, Integrated Circuits or related majors.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in embedded hardware/software and functional safety.
• Familiar with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 and development processes.
• English as a working language.

Job Requirements

Familiar with embedded hardware and software system development; knowledgeable in functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 and product development processes; proficient in applying common safety mechanisms in functional safety design; with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
3. Skilled in various functional safety analysis methods, including FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA, etc.
4. English as a working language.
5. Highly self-motivated and curious with strong learning, communication and coordination abilities; responsible, detail-oriented and rigorous; with good teamwork spirit and strong interest in the automotive industry and functional safety.
