Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support including requirement analysis, product demonstrations, and sales support.
• Prepare demo databases, mock scenarios, and proofs of concepts to show product capability.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and present plans, schedules, training plans, and contacts.
• Conduct implementation sessions, identify gaps, and document business requirements.
• Deliver end-user training and assist with documents like quotations, POs, and invoices.
• Monitor tasks, billing, and invoicing through live run.

Job Summary:

The Functional Consultant supports pre-sales activities, ERP implementation, user training, and customer success. The role acts as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and system adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales support for all sales activities, including prospect requirement analysis, product demonstrations, and general sales support.
• Prepare demo databases, mock business scenarios, and proof of concepts to demonstrate product capability.
• Propose solutions that meet prospects’ needs and their objectives for buying an ERP system.
• Provide consultation and share product information with the sales team.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and present project plans, schedules, training plans, and key contacts.
• Conduct implementation sessions with key users to explain standard system processes, identify requirement gaps, and close expectation gaps.
• Gather and document business requirements and coordinate with analysts for solution assessment and effort estimation.
• Facilitate discussions between customers and technical teams for complex enhancements.
• Deliver training to end users covering system setup and operational processes.
• Assist customers with simple documents and form customizations such as quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Monitor and manage project tasks, progress, billing schedules, invoicing activities, and overdue payments through to a successful live run.

Customer Success:

• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a smooth implementation experience.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements and standard feature enhancements.

Requirements:

• Customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to work successfully with prospects, customers, and across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and applying them in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience in ERP implementation, software consulting, or customer-facing roles is a big plus.
