Job summary

cat.treks is a women-only group adventure travel brand. We design for turning strangers into a crew, building a web app with React, Tailwind and Supabase. You’ll ship booking flows, traveller profiles and trip pages, plus in-trip social features.

You’ll work with a small team, get code into production within weeks, and own whole features from concept to release. We welcome self-taught developers, students, or recent grads who can turn rough briefs into working software and who care about

Qualifications

• Studying, or recently graduated, in computer science or similar — or self-taught with projects to show
• Comfortable with SQL and relational databases
• A GitHub or portfolio with things you've actually built
• Can take a rough brief and turn it into working software

Responsibilities

• Build features across our web app: React, Tailwind, Supabase(Postgres, auth, row-level security, edge functions)
• Ship parts of the booking flow, traveller profiles and trip pages
• Build the in-trip social features, including the Blind Manifesto game
• Work on internal tools: trip ops, customer support, finance
• Connect services we use — Stripe, Airwallex, Cloudinary
• Write clean, tested code and document what you build

cat.treks is a women-only group adventure travel brand. We take women ontrips they wouldn't book alone, with a crew they haven't met yet ---and most of them come home having made real friends.

We design for the part most travel companies ignore: how a group ofstrangers becomes a crew. That's a product problem, not a marketingone, and it runs through everything we build.

cat.treks sits alongside ESC (snowboard camps) in the same small group.You'll have your own brand to work on and a team around you who'vebuilt one before.

You build the product travellers use. cat.treks is an early build, sothe features you ship are the ones deciding whether a stranger becomespart of a crew.

What you'll do

Build features across our web app: React, Tailwind, Supabase(Postgres, auth, row-level security, edge functions)

Ship parts of the booking flow, traveller profiles and trip pages

Build the in-trip social features, including the Blind Manifesto game

Work on internal tools: trip ops, customer support, finance

Connect services we use — Stripe, Airwallex, Cloudinary

Write clean, tested code and document what you build

What you need

Studying, or recently graduated, in computer science or similar — orself-taught with projects to show

Nice to have

Supabase, Postgres row-level security or serverless functions

Experience with AI-assisted tools like Lovable, Claude Code or Cursor

Payments, booking or multi-currency experience
