Job summary

Amperesand is hiring an engineer to build features across its ERP platform, intranet, and internal tools. You will implement backend services in Go and the React/TypeScript interfaces on top, tackling inventory, procurement, work orders, and reporting with mentorship from senior engineers.

This hands-on role covers AI-assisted features, integration with identity and HR systems, and building retrieval and embedding pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping web applications to production.
• Experience with a typed backend language—Go preferred; or willing to work in Go.
• Experience building web interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• Solid fundamentals in REST or gRPC APIs and databases (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerized deployment (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Comfortable with AI coding tools and retrieval-augmented development concepts.

Responsibilities

• Implement full stack features across ERP platform, intranet, and internal tools.
• Build backend services and APIs in Go to support manufacturing and enterprise workflows.
• Create responsive web interfaces in React and TypeScript with accessible UI.
• Contribute to ERP capabilities (inventory, procurement, work orders, reporting).
• Support intranet features (directories, docs, workflows, self-service portals).
• Integrate with identity/HR systems and other internal services.
• Experiment with AI features: retrieval, summarization, data extraction, assistants.
• Ensure production readiness with error handling, citations, and permissions.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and document work for teammates.
• Balance new feature work with live system support in a fast-paced startup.
