Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a technology consultancy in Singapore, seeks a Full-Stack Engineer for a fixed-term 24-month engagement in the Co-Development Business Unit. You will help design, build, and maintain scalable prototypes across the full stack, collaborating with product, UX, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities emphasize modern software practices, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native development, with leadership opportunities and exposure to government digital services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of software engineering experience in agile, product-focused environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in modern full-stack development (Node.js, Python, React).
• Proficiency with cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps toolchains (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver functional POCs in short timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a secure, scalable experiment sandbox environment for rapid prototyping.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to co-create POCs and validate concepts.
• Drive modern software practices including CI/CD, test automation, containerization, and microservices.
• Provide technical leadership on engineering approaches and toolchains to accelerate prototypes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess applicability through quick experiments and POCs.
• Document reusable components, reference architectures, and best practices for broader adoption.
• Partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure sandbox governance and risk compliance.
• Track and report experiment outcomes including time-to-prototype and scalability.
