Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer in Singapore to join the Co-Development Business Unit.

You will work on solving business problems and transforming architectural concepts into production systems across our full technology stack, building and maintaining in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, Lambda functions, and both backend and frontend applications while ensuring governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years full-stack software engineering experience
• Experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements in production
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging
• Experience with system integration and event-driven architectures
• Proficient in backend technologies (C#, Java, Node.js) and frontend frameworks (React, Vue, jQuery, CSS)
• Proficient in IaC (Terraform) on AWS and in CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2/RDS and serverless workloads)
• Experience with IIS/Apache and SQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Self-directed, pragmatic problem solver with strong communication across teams

Responsibilities

• Solve business problems and transform architectural concepts into production systems across our full technology stack
• Build and maintain in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, Lambda functions, and both backend and frontend applications
• Ensure governance and compliance standards across development
• Raise the bar on engineering practices across the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable implementations
• Support modernization initiatives alongside legacy system maintenance
