Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is hiring a Software Engineer on a fixed-term 1-year contract to work on government agency projects in Singapore. You will join the Co-Development Business Unit and help design, build, and maintain in-house platforms, APIs, Lambda functions, and both backend and frontend applications while ensuring governance and compliance.

The role requires strong full-stack skills and experience with cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building production systems with security/compliance in mind.
• Ability to translate architecture into scalable implementations within a government-facing context.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end software solutions across backend and frontend.
• Maintain and evolve in-house platforms, APIs, and cloud components (AWS).
• Ensure governance, compliance, security controls, and audit logging.
• Collaborate across teams to raise engineering standards and delivery quality.
