Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Platform Engineer (Full Stack) to design and build scalable platform services, APIs, CLIs, and developer workflows across AWS, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.

You will work in a fast-growing environment, focusing on internal developer platform improvements, secure remote environments, and AI-assisted workflows to empower engineers and tenants across government-adjacent projects.

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability in Go or Python, with production-grade experience.
• Strong TypeScript/React/Next.js capability for internal portal and APIs.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: API design, versioning, testing, maintainability.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with observability and production operations, including logs, metrics, and dashboards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with application teams, platform engineers, security stakeholders, and internal product owners.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, self-service portals, or PaaS-style workflows.
• Experience with secure remote development environments, AI-assisted software workflows, or agent-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Design developer-facing abstractions over AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, and security controls.
• Develop platform services, APIs, CLIs, infrastructure automation, and internal tooling.
• Define stable interfaces, versioning, error handling, testing strategies, and documentation for platform components.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to accelerate delivery while preserving engineering quality.
• Contribute to a custom internal developer portal built with TypeScript and Next.js.
• Build self-service workflows for provisioning, deployment, environment management, observability, and readiness.
• Use metrics like DORA, SPACE, and DX Core 4 to prioritize platform improvements.
• Reduce the need for tenant teams to understand Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud internals before shipping.
