Tongzheng Building Structure and Faade System Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Full Set Accountant to manage AR, AP, GL, and project accounting for construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure GST compliance and robust financial reporting.
Requires 2+ years in full-set accounting in Singapore, proficiency with Xero or similar ERP, and advanced Excel. Mandarin proficiency is a plus for coordination with headquarters.
Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, inventory reconciliation, and journal entries.
Perform monthly and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of trial balances.
Review accounting entries and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns in compliance with IRAS requirements.
Support corporate income tax (CIT) computation and annual tax filing.
Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and tax regulations.
Handle financial matters relating to construction projects, including project cost allocation, subcontractor reconciliation, progress billings, and project revenue recognition.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare internal management reports, including: Project cost reports, Project profitability analysis, Expense analysis, Financial performance reports
Analyse financial performance and provide insights into project cost variances and operational efficiency.
Liaise independently with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for annual statutory audits.
Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial records in accordance with Singapore regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and Singapore accounting standards.
Strengthen internal controls and identify potential financial risks.
Work closely with project, procurement, and operations teams to ensure financial records accurately reflect project progress and commercial activities.
Minimum 2 years of full set accounting experience in Singapore.
Prior experience in the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industry is highly preferred.
Proven experience in: Full set accounting, GST submission, Year-end closing, External audit coordination, Project cost accounting, Subcontractor payment reconciliation, Progress billing and project accounting
Strong knowledge of: Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IRAS tax regulations, GST, Corporate income tax, Statutory reporting requirements
Proficient in accounting software such as: Xero, ABSS (MYOB), QuickBooks, or other ERP/accounting systems
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to independently manage the complete accounting cycle.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Strong written and spoken English is required.
Mandarin language proficiency is preferred as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking headquarters, suppliers, and business partners, as well as reviewing accounting documents prepared in Mandarin.
