Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling a full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Experience in audit coordination and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Independent, deadline-driven with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and manage banking transactions.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports, tax schedules, GST/VAT returns (where applicable), and other regulatory filings.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Review accounting entries and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems, financial processes, and internal controls.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff where applicable.
• Participate in finance-related projects and perform other duties assigned by management.
