Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and SFRS.
• Proven month-end and year-end closing experience.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Able to manage the full accounting cycle independently.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Manage cash flow and working capital reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Coordinate with tax agents on corporate tax and GST matters.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Singapore accounting and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Provide financial analysis and accounting advice to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning where required.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff where applicable.

We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible Accounting professional with a minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience to manage and oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions.

The successful candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to independently manage the full accounting cycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in full-set accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and SFRS.
• Good understanding of GST, corporate tax and statutory accounting requirements.
• Proven experience in month-end and year-end closing.
• Strong audit and financial reporting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Able to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
