Job summary

SINYANG BUSINESS CENTER PTE. LTD. invites applications for an accounting role in Singapore.

The position handles full sets of accounts, general ledger and reporting, and monthly and yearly closings, plus GST submission. You will record and classify all accounting transactions, balance debits and credits, and liaise with clients to gather documents and resolve queries. Experience with Xero and QuickBooks is preferred, and a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or ACCA Level 2 is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma, LCCI, Degree in Accountancy, ACCA Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience with full sets of accounts is an advantage.
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks preferred.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including GL and reporting, and monthly/yearly closing.
• Preparation of quarterly GST submission.
• For book keeping accounts. Record and classify all accounting transactions. Make sure correct accounts, posts, verifies and balances debit and credit entries. Manage accurate and timely closing of books for the monthly and yearly. Liaise directly with clients to gather accounting documents and resolve queries
• Check accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies.
• To identify improvement areas and develop good accounting control procedures and best practice to enhance accounting quality and efficiency Keep accurate records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by accounts manager.
